I certainly don't see this. I'm not optimistic that we can maintain .500 ball from here on out, but we are playing the Cubs and Pirates enough. I just want to see a few youngsters brought up and get playing time in September regardless. This is where I do miss the September mass call ups...

The Reds have 49 players on their 40 man roster now (including 9 on the 60 Day-IL).
I wouldn't be shocked if half those players couldn't make it on any of the other 29 organization's 40 man rosters, Krall could literally DFA 20+ of them and they'd pass through waivers.
