I'm not minimizing this team's obvious (and large) weaknesses.

However, they have faced some of the best pitchers and some of the best lineups since the season began. I can't wait to see how they look against an average/poor team. Maybe they'll look just as bad, but we'll see.

We all know about Pham's futility this year but he's made good contact a lot from the games I've seen. Unfortunately, they've been right at defenders.

My point was also that they have faced the reigning WS champs, a team off to a hot start, and now a team that many people are picking to win the WS this year. It will be interesting to see how they fare against teams that aren't at that high level.

He has made solid contact. They put guys in the field for a reason. At least he is making contact unlike several others in the lineup. Of course I suppose you're a batting average guy?

Well there is more than batting average of course, but .40 is 60 points below the average pitchers batting average... so yes..he stinks...so far for sure.
