    2022 Reds Attendance

With the Reds returning home later this week, it seems like a good idea to start an attendance thread. Below is the overall attendance dating back to 2000, the highest attendance for a season in the last two decades, thanks in a large part to the return of Junior. With fan apathy seemingly at an all time high, will attendance dip below the 2018 season low of 1.6 million breaking a record previously set in 1984? What will the Reds do in response? More bobblehead giveaways? Wheel out the remnants of the Big Red Machine for a weekend ceremony to boost ticket sales? The Reds had a tremendous opportunity to piggyback off the Bengals success, and are dangerously close to letting another generation of fans slip away.

Maybe they should welcome 10 cent beer night. Make it a daily thing...

I'll be there Saturday. Nothing like a sunny afternoon watching the Reds. After the Covid chicanery, not being able to watch UK or the Reds is infinitely worse than watching us be bad.

chicanery: the use of trickery to achieve a political, financial, or legal purpose.
Yeah, the 1 million Americans that died was just part of the trick! Abracadabra!’

A decent crowd of 20,470 for tonight’s matchup.

Best attendance for a Friday, April, St Louis series since 2014. Fans cant stay away from their free fireworks and bobble heads.

28,598 today. Sounded as though it was mostly Cardinal fans. But then the Reds fans had nothing to cheer about.

I expect attendance to severely drop off as we roll into May and June. I see two four games series against the Nats and D'Backs that may just draw some family and friends of the players. Not to mention a big 4 game series in September against the Bucs. They truly may not draw more than 10,000 for all 4 games.

I watched the game, Reds fans outnumbered Cardinal fans by a wide margin.
If they keep playing the way that they've been playing there's no doubt attendance will take a nose dive.

23,124 for Sunday’s game but fell to 10,056 last night. Looks like 30,000 total for the Padres series might be a stretch at this point.
