Really could use Solano and Schrock to take Ab's away from Aquino and Moose. Actually Aquino is getting over exposed because of Senzel and Pham running into each other and Senzel catching a cold.

Note: since Pham ran into Senzel on Tuesday, Aquino is 1 for 20 with 14 strike outs (and the one home run)! Moose, by the way, is 3 for 21 with 8 strike outs over those games.

Joey is the least of my worries at this point. I guess they really aren't worries, as much as they are realities though. We have 3 everyday players and 2-3 pitchers. The rest are minor leaguers or bench players.

People think Pham is some broken down vet? He barely had a ST. He’s actually got a clue on how to work a pitcher so comparing him to Moose or Aquino, unless he’s actually injured is wrong.

He’s at an age when it happens. It’s not a stretch. He’s not great even when firing on all cylinders.

Pham has been every bit as bad as Moose over the last 2 years so whatever you are applying to Pham (in either direction) should be applied to Moose

I think he is. You'd have to ask him or his wife though to be sure.

He’s tinkering with the batting stance, which we all know means no can defend.

What’s really concerning is that he’s never had a two week slump before. I assume so anyway.

i'll buy the excuse that joey usually starts slow and that is probably exasperated by the fact spring training was cut in half. i bet he still has a solid season. nothing like last year when he looked like MVP joey again, but we have far bigger problems than joey.

hell, at this point, we should just root for the #1 pick in the draft for 2023. this team is completely awful. and they've been hit hard by the injury bug. not a good combination. at least ownership hasn't said anything stupid yet today.

Pretty steady diet of left handers out of the gate for Votto...he did not hit them well last season. Could be why he is tinkering with his stance.

New bat, tweaked stance, short spring. Joey will be fine.

Joey has had cold spells before and supposedly really ripped one against the Dodgers the other night but it was foul (or a blown call.) He'll find his way.

Joey is a Red for life. I really don't care if there are people that don't like it.
