They left him in too long both of his first two starts. Wonder if that's a factor.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

It’s not about the velocity. It’s how much effort he’s putting into 95, something has to be wrong with him.

    Maybe. Let's see.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Well with all that, he only gives up 1 run and that was Pham's fault

How do you guys feel so certain he’s injured? Damn chill. I’m with Servo, the number of pitches is the worrisome thing.

    Maybe. Let's see.
no one said it's the end of the world. you were somehow downplaying that his velo is down 5 MPH. you know more about baseball than to dismiss that as ... 'Oh nothing to see here, dumbarses. haha!"

yeah, our best prospect just saw his velo go down 5-6 MPH. all good!

I was saying throwing 25 pitches in the first inning is sub-optimal, no matter what your velocity is. It's not that complicated.

my point is very clear to understand: hunter greene's velo being down 5-6 MPH on his fastball is a concern, no matter how you try and spin it. will it be nothing? hopefully. my history following baseball makes me a bit concerned here. that's all. you're not concerned at all? good for you.

Hello all - I am as cynical as anyone on here at this point but let’s pump the brakes on Greene panic over velo - there are a ton of reasons he may not have fully dialed it up that are not dire. I have some memory that he had starts like that last year in the minors. Not sure he will be at max velo EVERY start. Your mileage may vary.

Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2
