The 1990 Reds had about 300 PA's from batters over the age of 30. The 2022 Reds have six starters over the age of 30.

You're comparing the uniforms, not the players. As for being "Old School" I'm fairly certain I'm older than you and yet I'm capable of discerning that the comparison is not a fair or a correct one.

I guess it just was the way I was raised

Earl Weaver’s ghost might have them with an extra win or two, but that’s only because there’s no such thing as ghosts.

It's almost like there's a massive talent gap between the 1990 Reds and the 2022 Reds.

The Reds had 6 guys in the Top 20 for MVP voting. They also had one of the greatest bullpens ever assembled.

It’s grit and cranky managers that win titles, son.

Completely a young team that had a pitching staff that was primo.

Revisionist history asks why didn’t Lou ride that tiger into a run?

    Reality replies, it’s completely complicated

Complicated as in your hot headed closer charges you in the clubhouse?

Edit - Complicated as in you charge your hotheaded reliever.
