two outs, was worth the risk. took a perfect throw to barely get him.
Didn't look close to me. These are big leaguers. The defenders make the play. That stuff works in high school where teh defenders aren't as good. In the big leagues, they are going to be out 95% of the time on a play like that. Instead Votto comes up next inning with no one on base. I despise that play.

Best-case scenario for Senzel's career is probably Jurickson Profar. They're slightly different players, but their trajectory feels like it could be similar.

Nice to have India back. Would be even nicer if he started hitting.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Profar has a lifetime .709 OPS.

    So that’s Senzel’s ceiling?

This is Reds baseball. Stranding a leadoff double. Good to be back.

He's better than Wily Taveras and Jose Peraza, so no. He shouldn't be playing 3B though.

They need to show that sequence to every minor league squad in the system: don't do this.

Machado singles off the wall. 1st and 3rd. Maybe it is time to be pitching around Machado
