    oh good, more Aquino
    “I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    Starting to get a little concerned about Votto.
    Really hope he turns things around soon. Really wanna see him close out his career with respectful numbers.

    Reds are calling up LHP Phillip Diehl. Guessing Sanmartin is getting optioned.

    Justin Wilson was placed on the IL with left elbow soreness. Phillip Diehl, called up today, is the Reds' lone lefty in the bullpen

    @Reds

    The Reds today placed on the 10-day injured list, retro to Sunday, LHP Justin Wilson (left elbow soreness) and selected from Triple-A Louisville the contract of LHP Phillip Diehl.

    Diehl is a Cincinnati native and attended Archbishop Moeller High School.

    They can't catch a break with injuries. I was looking forward to seeing two LHP in the pen. Hopefully Diehl throws the ball well and stays when Wilson gets back.

    Maybe I will watch an inning or two if it is not out of reach yet by the time I get home.

    Don't get me wrong, he's been awful, but at least in the last week he's been drawing walks again. That's usually an indication things are starting to get better for him.

    This is no big Diehl.

    (I mean literally, he’s listed at 6’2”, 169.)

    Is Moose still on the injured list? Not that I miss him plodding around over at third like an elephant with three trunks and way too much junk. Just wondering if we'll ever see him again.

    [Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob
