Boston offering Jaylen Brown for Durant plus some picks...Brooklyn wants Smart included in any deal.

I know it's KD, but I kinda like Boston as is!

That's a terrible trade if the Celtics make it (even if they keep Smart).

Also, Jaylen Brown's head might explode if he ever has to play with Kyrie Irving again.

Draymond wants a max contract...like his game, love him on commentary, but not sure I would max him out if I am the Warriors. That could be an interesting situation of it deteriorates.

No way do I pay Draymond a max contract. They can find a "similar" type player for less. I get it Draymond is a pretty well rounded player, on the defensive side tho. His shooting has become atrocious tho. Let him walk!

Dray's the rare veteran player who's paid just about the right amount. I get him wanting the golden parachute, but making a reasonable (by NBA standards) amount actually builds up his brand as the ultimate team player. If he makes the max, all anyone will focus on is his lack of scoring.

I wonder if another team would value him...I could see some teams overpay for him but most would most likely be a ways away from contending. Dallas would be a good fit amongst the contenders as they need someone else to take heat of of Luka a more physical personality.

Green is exactly the type Sacramento would pay mountains of cash and young talent for.

Brown is signed for 2 more seasons IIRC. No reason to deal him for Durant unless they know he is walking. I like what they have set up for next year,

Report: Durant, Harden on Good Terms Amid 76ers Rumors

Earlier this week, SNY’s Ian Begley reported that some members of the 76ers front office are interested in trying to bring Kevin Durant to Philadelphia. What makes that report uniquely interesting is the presence of James Harden on the Sixers, and the idea of reuniting Durant with Harden half a year after Harden requested out of Brooklyn.

Well, it doesn’t appear that the stars have any bad feelings towards each other. The two spent a night together attending a Travis Scott concert in London last weekend, and that’s probably because whatever issues they had are in the past.

ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reports there is no bad blood between Durant and Harden currently.

Yeah, I've heard those rumors. To make the money work and to include enough to get the Nets to start sniffing a deal, the Sixers would have to move Harris, Thybulle, and Maxey (along with future likely-unprotected picks). But, should the Sixers even have enough to outbid other teams (which I question) for Durant, here are your choices:

Lineup 1- (No Durant): Embiid, Harris, Tucker, Harden, Maxey

Lineup 2- (w/Durant): Embiid, Durant, Tucker, Harden, Melton

Lineup 1 has a bench. Lineup 2 has, effectively, no bench. And as a fan, if the Sixers dealt Maxey, my dial would move from "hoping for" to "expecting" a championship.

An interesting sidenote to the story is that it pretty much confirms that Kyrie Irving has been the problem all along, eh?
