Mike Moustakas immediately returns to the lineup as the DH.

A day out of the lineup for Jonathan India, who just came off the IL with a hamstring injury. Brandon Drury will start in the field for the first time since April 17.

I hope India is 100% ok, and this day off for him was by choice, and not necessity.
Not questioning the medical staff or anything like that, just hoping for the best.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Nick Lodolo, placed on the IL today with a lower back strain, is the 16th Reds player to spend time on the IL this season.

The season is three weeks old.

If this is a daytime loss, at least I won't have to wait to learn the grim details over breakfast. Not that I am beaten down.

As to the IL, this is what happens when you lock out the players and don't have any supervision of training for months and then truncate spring training to 3 weeks.

Also, as I said last week, I still think the Reds need to re-visit the businessman's special on getaway days. It's not 1973 anymore (except for maybe the Castellini family).
    Where we gonna go?

Nearly every team has day game getaway days. Only a few East coast teams do 1235 though. Some do 105 others 135 etc.

Might the Reds be manipulating the IL with Lodolo?
Not saying he isn't injured. But it's certainly possible they are using it to keep his innings down.
If he ends up on it 2 or 3 more times and only misses the minimum amount of days. I think we have the answer.

Most teams start them later than 12:35. Further, the Reds, being in the middle of the country, should analyze these starts to see if attendance is greater for 6:40 or even 2:30 or 4:00 games than 12:35 - I'm bringing this up because it seems to me that the Reds don't actually think about what they do to goose attendance - they'd rather complain about no one coming to the games then figure out if something they've been doing for 50 years is no longer working.

Of course they are; if it was me I'd DFA Aquino and save the Lodolo move for later in the week when Moose has to go back on the IL.
