Mediocre start from Greene still a lot of work to do. Fastball command just wasn't where it needed to be.

Hunter is done. 4.2 IP, 4 ER.

If 96 is going to be where he lives, his career trajectory is nowhere near as exciting. He’s got to have that 99/100 MPH to separate himself.

Wow. I don’t think I’ve ever seen time called and granted that late before.

HRs are a problem for Hunter. You can survive a solo or two but those 3 run shots will ruin your start in a hurry.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    15% winning percentage = 24.3 wins this season...not bad Mets throw a no-no.

I said a few starts back Greene is quick to point up on fly balls thinking they are an out.

Well on that McMahon HR he pointed up and it was out. Out to the second deck.

Hunter looked fine tonight but four innings would have been enough. And when gave up double in fifth, that was more than enough. He’s a young pitcher, 3-4 good innings enough for now. Then push for more later in season.

For those talking about the weather, it’s really really windy here (Denver). It’s uncomfortable being outside.

On a different note, I’m taking the squad to the game Sunday. It’ll be nice to see the Reds without supporting the Castellini’s. We’ll be in LF and I look forward to catching a couple of Aquino’s homers
