    He is only going to catch 2 games every 3 game series. Might as well get used to it. Every starting catcher sits lots of games in modern baseball. No more iron man catchers like Bench.
    Coming off a concussion as well. Guessing that's why he isn't the DH. Plus we saw how using one of your catchers to DH works out for the Reds. Starter at Catcher gets injured and they lost the DH. Doubt Bell does that much if ever again.

    once barrero is on the team the reds could use farmer as an emergency third catcher (which would allow them to DH stephenson occasionally).
