Had to look up and verify that Ronnie Dawson is a real player. Thought maybe he was a guy off the street inserted in the lineup for publicity.

I know things are bleak, but that lineup is disturbing. Do you think the Brewers coaches just cracked up laughing when they got handed this lineup card?

When Topps gave him a card this year I figured it was just another in the long line of their guessing the wrong minor leaguer to go with and winding up with a weird card in the set. Turns out they actually had some foresight on this

I never thought I see the day that I complained about Farmer not starting. That day has come. Hopefully he's not put on the covid protocols in the next hour.

I know we joke about these lineups looking like spring training lineups, but this actually might be a lineup they used early in the spring.

For as bad as these lineups are, and as much grief the FO has gotten, anyone has to know that these were never the intended lineups or even the intended backups going into the year. 3-21 sucks, but what we’ve been watching isn’t the team as it was designed. The Dodgers have more money than sense and they’d struggle with the same amount of injuries/sickness/drastic unforeseen underperformance the Reds have dealt with. Not that it was an amazingly designed team…but come on. We have to know that what we are seeing was never the intended product.

intended or not, it is the result of gross incompetence...it is inexcusable and unacceptable

I haven't got this years heritage set yet. That is a nice looking card actually. I enjoy the heritage sets. 1973 is one of my favorite Topps sets. I really like the 73 Bench card going after the foul pop. Heard he hates it and refuses to sign it cause you can't see his face.

Thanks Ron for taking the time to do these. Looking forward to watching Greene today. At this point I am down to just watching certain players over the team as much. I really hope when Joey gets back he turns it around. He can't go out like this.

These lineups have health more like Sept lineups to me...just paying out the string with whoever is left standing.
