For as bad as these lineups are, and as much grief the FO has gotten, anyone has to know that these were never the intended lineups or even the intended backups going into the year. 3-21 sucks, but what we’ve been watching isn’t the team as it was designed. The Dodgers have more money than sense and they’d struggle with the same amount of injuries/sickness/drastic unforeseen underperformance the Reds have dealt with. Not that it was an amazingly designed team…but come on. We have to know that what we are seeing was never the intended product.

Some of these players were not in the plan, true. But others were very much intended. Sanmartin, Gutierrez, Minor, were intended members of the rotation, either front line or depth.

Difference is the Dodgers would go get MLB help and not even blink an eye, as the Reds would claim players released and not even have depth

Houser should not be in the pool in the first place. If it's a 12 team league anyway. Unless you have a team full of stud pitchers you might wanna keep hold of him.

I haven't got this years heritage set yet. That is a nice looking card actually. I enjoy the heritage sets. 1973 is one of my favorite Topps sets. I really like the 73 Bench card going after the foul pop. Heard he hates it and refuses to sign it cause you can't see his face.
