    The Connor Overton Appreciation Thread

I have no idea how long he'll be on the team, I don't know if his next start will be awful, but I do know that he has had two good starts in a row now, and we should appreciate that.

Hey. If the Reds found a future 4-5 starter on the cheap, it’s a win. One less spot to spend money on that can be used to bring in better OF

He’s got a long way to go to become a regular starter.

Of course, given his current competition, maybe it’s not as hard as it looks.

That's very true. Considering where we are this point, I'd take 5/ 1 or 5/2 every time out from him.

Totally agree. 2 starts with one being against the pirates mean nothing. But I sure hope he keeps it up.

Incremental improvement. Just be better than yesterday. After a while, it starts to add up.

We'll know in about 350 more innings.

Yes, it was good to watch him today, but it goes to show how bad things are when we are grateful for a starter who gives just 5 innings!

Be careful. Someone will be along to say that today's starters don't get paid to pitch more than five innings.

And every other team would be grateful for that.
