    Ranking Cincinnati Chili Parlors

Moving back to Cincy and taking the family around to the chili places- this is how my kids and wife rank them.

    1) Dixie Chili
    2) Skyline
    3) Gold Star
    4) Camp Washington

Camp Washington's fries were awesome, the coneys were really good, but nobody liked the 3 ways.

I once lived above a Gold Star once so I fell into that heavily.

I have two nephews that work at Skyline, they both eat it 10-15 times a week

When I was in high school Gold Star used to have 69 cent coneys on Wednesdays. It made me love their coneys.

I may be in trouble here, Im within walking distance of Graeter's, Busken Bakery....this is not going to end well, pray for me!

    Hyde Park, similar set up.

We looked at Mariemont and decided that nobody ever sells their house....great area.

Of what’s currently available to me, I’ll go
    1. Blue Ash Chili
    2. Camp Washington
    3. Skyline
    4. Chili Time
    5. Price Hill Chili

    9987. Gold Star

And yeah, the real estate market is tough right now, especially in the under $750k category. No real inventory at all. Most houses get sold before they ever officially go on the market. We’ve been looking a bit closer to the city as we could sell our house easily right now, and for a bit of profit, but there’s no where decent to go that doesn’t get bought up in less than 12 hours.
When all is said and done more is said than done.

Thank you for adding to the list of places I must try.

We were running into the inventory problem in Hyde Park, but there were a few we could have had had we been willing to overlook an underground oil tank. And a rat infestation.

I just got a new furnace this winter and retired my oil tank.

I go with Skyline when back home for a visit. Growing up, though, this was the go-to place for me. Their Torpedo would bring tears to my eyes. Tack on unlimited refills? Yes, please!

Anyone remember the Chili Company? https://www.wcpo.com/news/insider/re...s-chili-dishes

Yeah, that’s a great spot…Oakley/Hyde Park area. My sister used to live real close to Dewey’s pizza and I was another mile down by Crossroads. I do miss the awesome neighborhood so Cincinnati. They’re all unique in their own ways.
