It can be tough here. Some of these posters have been here for 20 years and it can be difficult to track inside jokes, accepted lingo, etc. I hope you will stick around and read. Lots of good info and discussion here even if you don't always participate. I am more of a lurker myself these days.

It's definitely a problem on this board. You've got some crusty old stalwarts and a pretty cliquish crew. It's the biggest and really only active Reds board I've found though. I mostly lurk because of this.

I don't know what lead up to this, but I've had to take a few breaks from RZ.
We can get on each other's nerves here
Another thing I do, it's helpful to just stop reading a thread when it gets annoying.
This isn't exactly the most entertaining version of the Reds either, good time to take a break.
Anyhow, I enjoy reading your posts, I hope you come back some day.

There’s times in life I’ll need a break from everyone at some point . Even from people I love. Hell one friend recently I just stopped responding to his texts since he was stressing me out. I’ll get back to him when I feel like it.

I don't think the issue here is breaks. It's that if you don't say exactly what others, who have been here a long time, want to hear at the right time, you are just treated as if you don't exist. Or if they don't like you they'll just try and run you off. One of them asked me why I had "PLEASE REMOVE MY ACCOUNT" in my signature. They've never said a kind word to me or discussed the game with me. Just wanted, ya know, to create an issue about it in a game thread. The other person, long time member here, attempted to poo poo on me in the forum with a nasty and snarky message at my expense, and when I called him out on it there was no apology, nothing.
