    5/18 Minor League Scores

Louisville plays tonight. Don't expect for it to be played, though. Thunder showers all over the area.

Spiers goes for Chattanooga. Like to see him string two good games together.

Bonnin goes for Dayton. I wonder if they can get their game in tonight. Weather's threatening.

Daytona has Cooper pitching. He's been low-key interesting.

Braylin Minier hit his 2nd HR tonight in his first 6 games in A Ball. Tiny sample size of course but he's slashing .300/.364/.650 already at the bottom of the Tortugas order. Michael Triana out of Cuba has been a disappointment but maybe this soon-to-be 19-year-old Dominican shortshop will pick up the slack for the 2019 signing class.
I dont care, Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. Hes in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.

    Re: 5/18 Minor League Scores

    So last night:

Senzel went 0 for 3 with a walk last night. No one else in Louisville really matters.

    Chattanooga won 6 to 5.

Siani 0 for 4 and his OPS drops below .800.
McLain 0 for 4 with a walk. OPS still above .900
Gilliam 1 for 4 with a walk and a .950 OPS. Is he a prospect at all? He's 25 in AA, so probably not.
    Spiers got roughed up. 5 IP, 4 H, 3 BB, 5K, 4 ER and 3 HR allowed.

    Dayton was rained out.

    Daytona won 7-5.
    The guys who matter most

Callihan. Allen and Hendrick each went 0 for 2 with 2 walks.

Red farm teams lost one, won two, and saw one postponed.

Louisville lost, 7-4. Cristian Santana and Trey Amburgey had two hits apiece, with Amburgey hitting a HR (#6).

Chattanooga won, 6-5. Quincy McAfee and Robbie Tenorowicz had multi-hit games.

Daytona won, 7-5, despite only hitting a couple base hits. 10 BBs helped.

    Dayton was postponed.
