    5/21 Minor League Scores

Reiver Sanmartin pitches for Louisville. Expect lots and lots and lots of runs.

Brandon Williamson pitches for Chattanooga. Expect lots of walks.

Christian Road pitches for Dayton. Expect injuries.

Julian Aguiar pitches for Daytona. Expect the unexpected.

    Last 3 starts for williamson - 18IP 4BB 20k

    Hopefully he’s turning the corner.

Not sure how this happened: Nick Senzel was out in centerfield, and was ejected by the first base umpire in the third inning. Senzel was called out on strikes in the first, but he still couldn't have been moaning about that call in the third, could he?

Williamson came back to have a very nice outing, aside from the four BBs.

    1 ER, 2 H, 4 K, 5 IP.

TJ Hopkins was perfect: 3-3 with a BB and 5 RBI. Isiah Gilliam had two hits and is now hitting .320 with a .940 OPS. That leads the team. He also has a 34% K rate.

Speaking of high K rates, Matt McLain's is at 31.1%. His BA is down to .238. Concerned?

Yeah, is he selling out for power? Very bizarre turn of events for a bat on ball guy.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
