I’ll take Friedl, though tonight they’re facing a lefty.

Could some one please make him go away forever? Maybe he could get some of our pitcher's diseases

If you give any weight to Fangraphs Def, Senzel is among the better CFers this year, defensively. Needs to get the bat going.

It's crazy isn't it? Happ is actually having a pretty good year so far. But he turns into Ruth in GABP. Reds should probably look to make a deal for him.

I don't know if it's the humidor or a deadened ball but I like watching games at GABP better with it. Not every medium fly ball to right center lands in the second row.

Eye test agrees with fangraphs as well.

To be fair it’s not a Reds exclusive problem, watching Schwindel whiff there and looking at his season line has me thinking about the chatter here in town that the Cubs had “found something” with the 1B. Was never buying that one.

Still shaking my head about the Aquino at bat. Three straight swings and misses with bases loaded. Against a hittable lefty who was walking guys.

    Today's Trivia Question:

Since 2000, four pitchers have won 15 or more games & struck out 200 or more batters in the same season, while playing for the Reds.
    Name'em

Been thinking that for years. There was a time when they could have made it happen.

The conundrum Aquino faces is that he hits lefties best and the good curveballs the worst, and most lefties have a really good curveball.

I predicted he would crash and burn. Also predicted that Texas signing of Sieman would be a bad signing. He got a huge deal off of a career year. I was also hoping the Reds would get him before last season.
