    5/24 Minor League Scores

A couple of excellent pitching performances so far for the boys down on the Farm:

    Ben Lively - 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 8 K. Louisville leads 4-0.

Joe Boyle - 5 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB 7 K. Over 32.2 IP so far this season, Boyle has allowed just 6 hits. One hit every 5 innings. Is that any good? Dayton is ahead 2-0.

Carson Spiers has worked two hitless innings in his start so far.

So when does Boyle get to go to AA?

    Ben Lively's night is over. 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 11 K. Take a bow, Ben.

Dayton has blown its game open. They lead 6-0, and are threatening for more.

They add on 2 more. 8-zip Dragons.

Barrero needs to play everyday no matter what when he’s off the DL. At SS.

    Patience, Grasshopper.

Let him go another inning and stretch him out to at least 100 pitches. At some point so he can do it in the majors.

I’d think. The only chink in the armor is maybe his walk rate.
