    I don't like the chances that Votto will replicate his feat from last night of hitting two balls off the top of the OF walls back into play.

    Lets see if Pham can get through the next 3 hours without being scratched from the lineup again.

    With Naquin out there’s not enough LHH in this lineup against the RHP. Even with Naquin they’d need more.

    Reds miss India, Senzel might be ok hitting seventh, but he hasn’t shown enough to hit leadoff now. Maybe would be ok against lefties. Hope he proves me wrong tonight.

    The Reds have added outfielder TJ Friedl to the taxi squad.

    The Reds' depth at OF is terrible throughout the organization. The infield could be promising, but the OF isn't great and there is no help on the way.

    Need some acquisitions there for next season.

    That stinks. This lineup will miss Naquin.

    Tommy Pham out of the lineup today. He’s available off the bench, David Bell said, and expected to start tomorrow.

    Tonight's lineup in original post has been updated

    Probably soon. And with the OF injuries they will stick him somewhere in the OF most likely instead of SS where he should be.
    I get that many like Farmer. I do as well. But he is a replacement level player. They need to see if Barrero is the future SS. Maybe he is a future OFer. With all the SS they have in the system. But imo he should get a Crack at SS from day 1 when he is called up.

    Joel Luckhaupt
    @jluckhaupt
    Since Luis Castillo returned to the rotation on 5/9, Reds SP have a 3.47 ERA (9th in MLB) and opponents are hitting .198 against them, best in MLB.

    They're getting just under 5⅔ IP from their starters during that span, 6th highest in MLB.
