Daytona - Another loss to St. Lucie. Daytona is now 2-9 against the Ricardos. The 'Tugas did not even make this game close, losing 7-1.

Sam Benschoter, Dennis Boatman and Jose Franco pitched multiple innings and allowed multiple runs. They threw a combined 6 wild pitches, while walking 6 batters. 'Nuf said.

The sticks fared in much the same manner. One double (Ibarra), 3 singles (Callihan, Rogers and Minier), and 14 strike outs.

Bonnin carrying 96 with movement late in the game is really, really good to see. That delivery looks hard to pick up.

    Abbott's delivery is smooooooth.

I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do at the higher levels.

I think Boyle, Bonnin, and Phillips need to see AA this season.

Depending on how well he pitches moving forward, Roa too.

Williamson can move to AAA (as IMO, there's little difference between the two levels), while Abbott remains as the sole AA rotation piece. (Spiers moves up too.)
