I think Farmer could be a supersub and still get starter minutes just fine. He can even spell the catcher's spot.

We need to see what we have in Barrero.

    I'm with you.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Greene hitting 102 after 80 pitches.

    He's just a freak athlete.

Also, watching Molina fail and get mad will never get old for me.

If Farmer is the super sub, who’s the third baseman?

Moose or is he a DH?

Drury? Is he better than Farmer all around? Maybe Drury is the super sub.

If Drury continues to hit, can he play LF?

Or do Reds trade most of them?

Or does Barrero move to CF?

    Lot of questions.

I think I remember some people here saying the Cardinals announcers were good, but to me they are the worst kind of homer. Every single thing the Cardinals do is the greatest.

Drury/Moose/Farmer when he subs the spot. Solano when he gets back. Possibly McClain when he comes up. Matt Reynolds when India's back. Lots of options.

    Drury's probably getting traded.

We have no shortage of infielders.

Cards radio announcers have always been strong, smart and fair. Their TV announcers have always been the worst kind of homers.

Also need to drop the Drury signing talk. If you’re going to keep, sign, extend anyone, then it should be Farmer.

He could spell every infield position and DH and get 5 starts a week. I keep him in that role over Senzel in a heartbeat.

Diaz pitched two innings and threw 31 pitches on Thursday. He’s now warming again. And entering.

This is the hidden disaster of a lousy bullpen.
