    6/18 Minor League Scores

Louisville Notes - They are tied at 4 in the 6th.
Nick Lodolo went two innings. It took him 49 pitches to get there. He allowed 4 hits, a walk and struck out 6. He hit 96 on the gun while I was listening. Randy Wynne has taken over.
Sandy Leon has singled twice and doubled so far.
Taylor Motter has singled twice and walked.

Chattanooga Notes - Chattanooga has jumped the shark and the tracks. They trail 11-1 in the 4th.
Andrew Abbott did not make it out of the 1st inning, allowing 8 runs.
Alex McGarry is not having any trouble adjusting to AA ball. He cracked his second home run as a Lookout. His OPS is over 1.100, albeit in just 7 games.

Dayton Notes - The Dragons trail 3-2 in the 4th.
Christian Roa is looking very un-prospectlike again. 4 walks in 4 innings. ERA well over 5.00.
Ruben Ibarra rolls on. Single, homer (first as a Dragon).
Eddy De La Cruz has singled, walked and stolen a base (18).

Daytona Notes - Daytona scored 7 in the first, and never looked back. They win 11-7.
The pitching was not good with the exception of Owen Holt. Holt threw 2 scoreless. He has not been scored upon since April 9. His ERA is a microscopic 0.42. He is 23, however, and has not had any success to speak of in the past.
Tyler Callihan singled twice, as well as doubling twice.
Michel Triana singled, doubled and tripled twice.
Austin Callahan singled twice and walked.
Fidel Castro homered (3), and walked twice.

I'm shocked Sandy Leon hasn't taken Okey's spot on the parent club. He should be starting catcher number one, now that Stephenson's out.

Okey stays because hey it’s a Reds draft pick. See. We can develop our own players. This proves it.

McClain. Hines. Cerda. Combined 10k. It’s not SSS it’s a pattern. All that rings in my head is Keith Law and his condescending quote of strikeouts only hurt your feelings. Well it sure as hell hurts the game to watch it consistently and while you could always be Joey Gallo and a complete outlier. it’s very doubtful.

That was Rob Neyer, not Keith Law.

    Thank you for the correction.
