    I cannot.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Mahle would appreciate that kind of defense from his infield.

    Votto crushed that.

Well once I saw they were playing the Dodgers which wasn't until about 4.

#Marlins signed center fielder Billy Hamilton. He will report to Triple-A Jacksonville.

Miami also dealt for catcher Ryan Lavarnway in a Minor League trade with Detroit.

well, no worries that we won't be in the draft lottery (6 worst teams in MLB).

Mahle is suffering from a best-start-of-career hangover.

If Mahle isn’t moved by the deadline, this season will indeed have been a total loss. There has to be at least a moderate rebuild - this isn’t a young team - and Mahle’s just a bad fit here.

Take the opportunity to prune these branches.

Tyler Mahle is the first Reds pitcher to throw 4 straight starts of 6+ IP and ≤ 3 runs allowed and not get a win in any of them since Raisel Iglesias did it in 2015. Only Mike Leake (5 in 2014) and Gary Nolan (5 in 1971) have longer streaks by a Red since at least 1901.

A couple of really good guesses, klw. Templeton led with the Cards but not the Pads. Davis led while with the Dodgers but no one else, although he had a really good season with the Mets.
