Its always nice to wake up to a Reds win. Need one more in this series to keep staving off a 100 loss season.

When I miss the game, it's always good to read the game thread before I check the Reds website.

    Thanks guys.

Did I see that right? 123 pitches for Castillo???

Sounds about right, blow him up right before any trade can be made... expecting an IL announcement this afternoon... it a Reds thing

Castillo didn't look labored at all, though. I think it was a night he just felt really, really good.

Any starting pitcher worth his salt should be able to go 120 pitches. He went three over that but that shouldn't kill him.

Indeed. I'll give you a hint. Reds drafted him in something like the 10th or 11th round, signed him for three thousands bucks in 1989 , left him unprotected in the '92 expansion draft, where the Marlins grabbed him. He developed a devastating changeup that carried him to seven All-Star apperances , 601 career saves, and a plaque in Cooperstown. GREAT JOB, REDLEGS!!! "HELLS BELLS !!!"

I would have liked to have seen him go more than6 innings, throwing 123 pitches.
