    I don’t think it does because back before Dusty they were attacking that first pitch because that pitcher is gonna wanna get ahead! Pitchers also want to remain in the big leagues and get outs, so they adapt

    Neither the Reds nor Cubs have have had a pitcher lead the league in saves for nearly a quarter of a century. But in the decades of the 70's, 80's , and 90's , there were a total of nine(9) pitchers from either the Reds or Cubs who lead the NL in saves. Six were Reds; three were Cubs . How many can you name ???

    That's the thing about when two bad teams play each other. They could score 20 runs total or just 2.
