Nearly two hours to play 4 innings. Get that pitch clock here yesterday. Minor league games move with so much better pace, even when pitchers struggle to find the zone.

400/449/556 for Senzel over the last 15. So encouraging.

I believe all that's needed is forcing batters to stay in the box. Watched a game this weekend where a batter would swing, momentum taking him to other batters box, then he slowly walked around the umpire. Took him almost 30 seconds just to get back in the box.

Nice six innings for Ashcraft but he needs to miss a few more bats.

Lot of batted balls in play, result could have been much worse.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the pitch clock applies to the batter too. I was at a Louisville game a few weeks ago where Barrero got called out with the count 2-2 because he was fiddling around too long outside the box.

Nice back to back efforts by the rookie starters.
