I just don't understand how the Yankees have such a good record. That lineup seems all grip and rip to me, I guess playing half your games in GABP jr. helps.

was listening to some NYC sports radio (because i'm crazy) and even yankee fans are saying things like "we're good, but nowhere near great. our record is only this good cause the AL sucks."

According to SRS the Yankees are easily the best team in MLB with a 2.1 and behind them are the Dodgers at 1.4 and Houston at 1.2. Every other team in under 1. Four of the Yankees 5 SP are out pitching their FIP by at least 0.4 so that could normalize for some regression.
The best hitting team in the majors is facing the worst pitching staff in the majors.

Well we finally get to see what our lineup was supposed to be all year.
I would have sacrificed all three of those wins against over the weekend against the Rays if it meant three W's against the Yanks in NY.

Wonder if Pitching or hitting will be their top priority at the deadline?
Hubby and I just got back from Boston on Sunday. While we were there on Friday the Red Sox got beat 12-5.
Why is the game delayed? I can't watch it because we have to get up early in the morning for work.
