This is the tweet from the Yankees about the delay. Very vague.

Please be advised we do not intend to start tonight’s game on time. We will provide you with more information as it becomes available.

Wow I didn't know the Yankees pitching staff is that bad!

The ceremonial first pitch was just thrown. It shouldn’t be too much longer before the game starts.

They're not the best hitting team, are they? I know they score the most and are like 5th in HR, but seems they're not in the top 10 in hits.

There has been a "severe thunderstorm watch" in Manhattan the last two hours but I have seen no rain.

That's not a fair trade! Would you giver up the 3 home wins for 2-1 at the Yankee stadium, or even 1-2 at Yankee stadium?

Friday night, we won a game on a rare "balk" off. I'll take a win any way we can get it. I would have even settled for a walk off catcher's interference. How rare is that? So rare, that it's happened only one time in history. How do I know it happened? Because I remember the game. It made me angry. Stay tuned on why the ending some 50+ years ago upset me so much in today's edition of THE REST OF THE STORY .

Think Votto would want to see some pitches in his first AB in 8 games? Guess not.
