I know it's been said before, and that it's "passe" to complain about lineups (especially during a nice streak), but I am going to do it anyways. With this lineup, it shouldn't be that difficult to get Stepheson in there somewhere in the top 1/3.

    1. Tommy Pham (R) LF
    2. Tyler Naquin (L) RF
    3. Tyler Stephenson (R) C
    4. Brandon Drury (R) 3B
    5. Joey Votto (L) 1B
    6. Jonathan India (R) 2B
    7. Kyle Farmer (R) SS
    8. Mike Moustakas (L) DH
    9. Nick Senzel (R) CF

That said, it's nice to have most everyone in there at the same time for a while, as long as it lasts anyways.

This deep lineup. According to Sadak better put up a bunch of runs if they are to keep the streak alive.
    It's Minor day.

I was 99% sure Drury would be the Reds rep for the all star game. I still think he makes it. They will be some players opt out.

At the moment, I think I would go:
    1. Nick Senzel (R) CF
    2. Jonathan India (R) 2B
    3. Tyler Stephenson (R) C
    4. Brandon Drury (R) 3B
    5. Joey Votto (L) 1B
    6. Tommy Pham (R) LF
    7. Tyler Naquin (L) RF
    8. Kyle Farmer (R) SS
    9. Mike Moustakas (L) DH
“The guys we've had for the most part have been serviceable at this level.”

Can't anyone come up with a lineup without Moose in it?

I don't claim to know the reasoning behind having him bat 5th, but I imagine it's because they want the him up there with multiple on base as much as possible.

    Lineup
Senzel CF ride the hot hand
    India 2B
    Stephenson C
    Drury 3B
    Naquin RF
    Solano DH
    Votto 1b
    Pham LF
    Farmer SS

Lineup needs a couple more LHB to balance it out. But it does not need Moose.
That Lineup I posted in any order you wish is the best 9 they have.
It is not however by any means "Deep" as Sadak likes to tell us.

Definitely at best average. But having said that.
Had this Lineup been healthy from day 1. And had the bullpen been league average.
They would be above the Cubs and Pirates and fighting for .500 record.
Would have been so much funnier to follow.

I, like most of you here will always follow no matter how bad it gets.
But last season sans the terrible pen was really fun to watch.
They at least stayed in the wildcard chase till September.

The Reds may have a nice winning streak, but against Mighty Mike Minor, the Yankees are going to blast the ball into the Yankee Stadium bleachers like Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle, Dimaggio, and Berra all rolled into one. No chance tonight. #jinx

And the Cincinnati Reds have a winning record against the division as a whole. Baseball is funny sometimes.

They are showing Fairchild in for Senzel now. What’s up?

    Senzel scratched with back stiffness
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
