Joey Votto made a notable swing change at the All-Star break during a tough year at the plate for him.
He's only hitting .160 during that stretch, but he does have three of his nine homers for the season.
Votto's homer gives the Reds a 2-0 lead.

He's lost bat speed and strength. Not that long ago he was routinely putting shots half-way up the lower deck. I think it's time to think about his replacement. Doesn't every great player have that surge at the end, where the swans are singing?
