I suppose you don’t want to piss off the Reds’ PR mafia.

    Tommy Pham traded

My hope would be they paid the cash and got some kind of thing approximating a prospect or potential bullpen arm.

(The humorous thing is I bet each of our guys thought they were providing a scoop in that Pham was scratched).
At least have a direct link here that you refresh while letting other people do your work for you.

Heck, have a direct link to REDSzone to let others do your work for you.

They are fanning paper money in the REDS' front office as we speak.

I don’t think I spent that much time in the Pham signing thread. (Maybe I played around in there when the slap occurred, I don’t know)

But that thread just seems all rather insignificant now. Such a pointless deal.

I’m guessing the Red Sox needed some help with their fantasy football league.

I still think it’s the kind of signing they should do more. This time around it just didn’t mean much given how quickly south the season went and how Pham is just a serviceable guy now but I think if you take enough shots like this they tend to pay off more than not..

Conspiracy theories are fun but C Trent retweeted Rosenthal almost immediately and Charlie Goldsmith of the Enquirer had a story up about the trade 35 min ago.

Pham, Solano, Drury .... all could net value in trades. I mean that waiver claim on Dan Straily... solid.

Onto the search for the next Tommy Pham. Dubious he’ll have as much personality.

Guessing the Reds get…random guess…Zack Kelly, 27 yr old relief prospect.

I’m a vacuum I am totally cool with it.

But after the buffoonery of last offseason, eh.

But neither broke the story, but I guarantee they knew about it. The best writers have great sources, they just can’t act on stuff like this because they fear getting cut off by Butcher. It’s why the national guys scoop the local guys every time.
