As someone who was bullish about the team during Spring Training - Max Schrock looking really good then etc (yes, do laugh) - it seems to me that the key words for the Reds in 2023 are durability and depth. We can all come up with a good looking team and roster but the current group of players have had far too many injuries, the most concerning being the younger players - India, Stephenson and most of the pitchers - who we want to be part of a near-future successful team. Then, you add in the players we expect to be injured - Moose, provably Votto as he gets one year older - and we have a lot to worry about. The Reds may have had an awful season but they’ve had a very good “IL team”
