    Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps
Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
Phish - Stealing Time From the Faulty Plan

Before you say it Dom, I have SiriusXM and there is a Phish channel, I know they wouldn't play that on FM.

HAHA, this is a no judgment zone.

Also, if it makes you happy, enjoy it, man. Life is short.

    Great song!

True story, and you may be aware of this, Walter Egan once appeared on the Scrabble TV game show as a contestant. He sang a few bars of his track to Chuck Woolery (sp?) and the crowd to identify himself.

Out of all of Bruce Hornsby’s hits, The Valley Road is also the one that resonated with me the most.

And good call on the Mike and the Mechanics track. Out of all of their hits, that one seems to have fallen within the cracks. It’s largely forgotten today.

Recently, I actually heard both This Must Be the place and Love Will Tear Us Apart within days of each other on terrestrial radio, no less. The station: WXRT Chicago, an Adult Alternative Album rock (AAA) station. And they play several Phish tracks, FWIW, not just Free. Apparently, several Phish tracks were AAA radio hits even though Mainstream Rock Radio virtually ignored them.

Phish shows in Chicago are a big deal, I have seen them there quite a few times. They always come out and put on a huge show there.

I've only done Alpine and Deer Creek in the Midwest, Atlanta a bunch in the nineties, the rest always out west.

    Golden Earring's "Radar Love".

Can't even say a line from it without getting goosebumps.

    Also,

    Beatle's "Come Together".

    Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey—Paul McCartney

That song is a time machine unlike any other for me. I can see, hear, feel, how everything was in the early 70’s when I hear it. It’s a great song, though not necessarily one of my all time favorites. But it has that eerie quality of its time and place like few other songs.
