Senzel reaches on a hit I assume that went right through Urias

Brantley all over Senzel for not going first to third on the Votto single.

"The Reds have got to figure out a way to get Nick Senzel to play harder, and I'm not sure how you do that."

    Ouch.
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

Making Senzel play harder has worked out great. For his doctor.

Solano is a throwback type hitter to before all most hitters cared about were exit velocity.

Well at least Aquino didn’t swing at everything. That was a close pitch.

Not smart. At all. Bases loaded, two outs, 1-2 count.

Brantley is chugging Cokes and getting a little angrier every day since he was on the field

Aquino is so frustrating to watch. Absolutely no confidence in himself at the plate. That was 94 right down the middle. Never moved the bat. That tells you he is guessing, imo and he ain’t good enough at that!

Even though they clearly are favoring the Brewers, I like this announcing crew so far. PBP is straightforward, no nonsense, and the color guy knows his stuff, player’s strengths and weaknesses and the most advanced metrics.

I think Senzel should focus on playing smarter. He has made
Some of the dumbest baserunning mistakes by being too aggressive. Getting picked off first, he just doesn’t play very smart.

Exactly, he’s been a base out a bunch, yet he should have gone first to third on that single up the middle.

I prefer less outs on the bases, it’s the first inning no reason to throw an out in their lap
