I would prefer they eat that contract and let some of the prospects get some MLB experience because Moose is not going to figure in the Reds future. After all, they are already playing Votto every day and he is nearing the end of the trail as a productive hitter.

I've never known a Buck that was trustworthy, including Farmer. I didn't know Buck Owens , so I can't really say anything about him.I knew Buck had it all the way

The Reds have lots of good prospects but not many are ready for the major leagues.
I’m not sure they lack roster spots for anyone they care to bring up.
At some point they may have a roster crunch and they would have to consider whether Moose should be cut.
