    Jose Acuna

Jose Acuna. A quick look at his delivery. He was picked up in the Naquin trade.

This guy's thread needs a bump because, based on his performance, he should be in the discussion of the best Reds Pitching prospects.

In April he was solid... 4 games started, 17.1 innings, 12 hits, 5 runs, 5 BB to 15 K for an era of 2.6 and a WHIP of .98 but in May he is starting to really shine.

He has 20 Ks and only 2 BBs in 15 innings. His WHIP is a miniscule .60 in May, and that's for a starting pitcher, not a situational reliever.

Acuna + Rodriguez for Naquin +Diehl looks (at least currently) like the most one-sided deadline trade the Reds made last season.

I really like this kid. He changes speeds effectively and has a lot of movement on his pitches. He has the kind of stuff that will work at the MLB level.
