Didn't he get hurt last night jogging to first base? If he is going to steal money like this, he should at least try to get himself in shape.

There shouldn't be any urgency, IMO. I'd rather have Moose riding the bench than one of the kids. If you are bringing them up, it should be to play. Moose is a veteran, a clubhouse leader and has been part of winning cultures. There is value to that. If they need the roster spot bad enough, you cross that bridge when you get there.

Keep him on the roster if for no other reason than to maintain control over him. Let him know there’s no way he’ll ever see the field again, separate him from the rest of the team, and then make him run laps until he pukes or retires. Every. Single. Day.

I like the cut of your jib. You wouldn’t happen to be that McGraw feller from the Baltimore area.

It's not going to happen, he has no desire to do so, and apparently Bell has no say in the matter.

He reminds me of the physical trainer on Night At The Roxbury.

I know. There’s plenty of clutter there. Make room.

Keeping him off means they have flexibility is my guess.

The season is crap, but don't expect them to advance guys at the expense of their control over them. They will ride the Moose's and Lopez's into the sunset. They have to go .500 to end up with just 90 losses.

They aren't going to start anyone's clock to play in a lost season, if folks don't like that understood. But that's how it will go down

True. I’m just eager to see guys that might not stink.

So the fans don't have to see him.

    That's a great benefit.

Moose is what Waynes was for the Bengals.... stolen money.
