    He’s trying to win the game, man… Barerro had utterly non-competitive at-bats. Chances are, the Mets don’t know who Alejo Lopez is and don’t know how to attack him.

    I don’t disagree… I’d have let Barerro bat in that spot. But I don’t think Bell’s thinking is way off base.

    Bell needs to be fired. He's not the guy to manage all these young players we have coming up through the system.
