exactly. CES is just shy of 1.000 OPS at 0.983 with an exact 25% K.

Plate discipline can be learned. Thats what will make the difference for this kid because he's got a 0.376 OBP.

2-4 tonight with a BB. I haven't had the chance to watch the game yet but I can't find any reasons why he shouldn't be with the big club.
How do we know he's not Mel Torme?

No, but Steer needs to be added (protected) so he’ll get the call soon. Reds will begin to create roster spots by dropping guys who don’t fit in their plans, no reason to wait for the off-season.

Steer apparently had another HR tonight. Dude is on a tear.

    That's 22 HR on the season for him. A .273/ .365/ .888 line with "only" 79 K in 445 PA.

His wRC+ in Louisville is 40+% better than league average.

    Really excited about his future.

I think, next season, both De La Cruz and Steer will be starting in Cincinnati on Opening Day.

Also excited. It's kind of wild to think that he's one of the least talked about prospects we got at the deadline.

Lol! That kid out in the grass overlooking LF dropped the HR ball. Reminds me of some of the Reds’ OF’s!

With Votto out Steer might come up today.

Farm would move to first, Steer to third.

For those more in the know than I, could holding back Steer be a service time thing? Does it make sense to hold back?
