Aquino and Barrero are just completely lost at this point.

Seems to me like they are both trying so hard and know they need to be able to handle the breaking ball to make it in the bigs. Both are concentrating on hitting breaking balls and are not able to handle the velo of fast balls. Like Brantley says, a hitter must be set to time the pitcher's hardest pitch and then learn to adjust to the other stuff, and if they can't they don't belong in this league!

I agree. If you can't identify the pitch in time to hit it, you can't make it, as in Drew Stubbs. Lucky guesses and other luck along with perceived potential may keep you around for a few years.
