I don't see him going in until maybe the 9th if its tie or Reds leading. But even in a tie I might wait for the ghost runners of the 10th and maybe the 11th. I'd say just pitch him. Two innings per outing from here on out. With a 30 pitch limit per outing.
This would be every 3rd or 4th day. Because he should only pitch in tie games or games which the Reds have a lead. No way that's going be more than once every 3 days on average.

Patience is really difficult with the approach you see from Barrero. Aquino I’ve already given up on. Even 1972 George Foster showed something despite a 5 BB to 44 K ledger and 200 BA.
I just want to know how we can clone at least 1 other reliever like him. Maybe 1 a year like him is the best we can hope for.
