    Best start of Lodolo's career so far? 7 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 8 K.
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

Be nice to avoid the sweep, but the last thing they need to do is over work Diaz.
I get the feeling that we will see Warren in the 8th though.
I don't see him going in until maybe the 9th if its tie or Reds leading. But even in a tie I might wait for the ghost runners of the 10th and maybe the 11th. By the way I like the Little League softball rule of playing the 1st extra inning straight up, and then the ghost runner for the remainder.

Diaz warming in the 7th? Bell must want to be sure he pitches an inning today with the off day tomorrow.

9 strikeouts for Reds pitching. 2 more and fans in stands get free nasty cardboard pizza.

Barerro refuses to take a walk. Absolutely pressing. He wasn't fooled there, he demands, of himself, a hit.

I'd say just pitch him. Two innings per outing from here on out. With a 30 pitch limit per outing.
This would be every 3rd or 4th day. Because he should only pitch in tie games or games which the Reds have a lead. No way that's going be more than once every 3 days on average.

    7 pitches, 7 strikes, 3 outs.

Maybe we should have an off-season contest to see what Timmy Trumpet song can blast while Alexis jogs in to close games next year?

Friedl lead off hit. Try to steal or hit and run with India. Try to make something happen.
I'd even go for a bunt and I hate bunts.

Patience is really difficult with the approach you see from Barrero. Aquino I’ve already given up on. Even 1972 George Foster showed something despite a 5 BB to 44 K ledger and 200 BA.

I just want to know how we can clone at least 1 other reliever like him. Maybe 1 a year like him is the best we can hope for.
