Kuhnel doesn't belong in the back end of games, but I'm not sure why they had Almora playing in the right field bleachers.

Kuhnel doesn’t belong on the roster.

4 pages long is rather impressive for late-season Reds vs Pirates.

    Well done all.

Reds with a one-run lead on the road is perilous. They need about a six run lead.

    Bases loaded for Bucs.

That's a pretty pathetic loss. Ashcraft hit a bit of a wall then you have to turn to Kuhnel and Detweiler in the 9th. Yikes.

    And they walk it off.

Kuhnel with a 1 run lead in the 9th was a horrible idea.

Just clean this place out next year. New coaches, hopefully a better roster. One that doesn’t feature 10 guys or more that no one else would touch with a 10 foot pole. Dump bleach all over this and start the bleep over. This is disgusting.

Like Cowboy said, if a lefty in the pen can’t get Gamel out, what’s the point?

Glad I didn’t watch the whole game. The bottom of the 9th was over pretty fast.

Maybe Smithers will reassign Kuhnel, Strickland and Detwiler to being Head Bee Guys.

Not sure what the crisis is for Bell using Diaz as the closer. He’s clearly the closet of the future….why not get his used to it this year? And don’t give me the BS of “it doesn’t matter, if bad guys give up the lead in the 8th”

    Diaz can't pitch every inning.

Reds seem pretty committed to getting that 16.5% chance at the #1 pick.
