I wonder if Reynolds has to go on the IL if they will call Spencer Steer up to take his place on the roster?Matt Reynolds exited Sunday's game against the Pirates due to hip soreness, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Manager David Bell said after Sunday's win that Reynolds has dealt with his hip issue for several days, but the injury was bothering him more as the game progressed Sunday. Prior to his departure, he went 1-for-4 with a strikeout. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Monday's series opener in Philadelphia.
