    I assume this is Chuckie Robinson's MLB debut. Good luck to him and enjoy your moment in the sun.

    Donovan Solano's first major-league appearance at 1B.

    Love having a 5'8" first baseman.

    Not sure what, but yeah!
    All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

    I really get the feeling someone in the organization truly thinks that Farmer is a better hitter than Solano.
    ...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

    @nightengalejr

    There aren’t many 21st-round picks who make the Majors. There are even fewer Black catchers in the league.

    Chuckie Robinson is set for his MLB debut tonight. “I know I am representing a lot of people out there. I like being in the position I am in.”

    I'll say something about it. This is what ownership deserves. Being cheap means not having a major league caliber team with 35 plus games remaining. It's a disgrace - a real commissioner would have stepped in a long time ago to prevent teams from doing this -- No matter how good the AA and A+ prospects may be, it is not what I want to see as a fan of a supposed major league level club.

    I still pay attention to the Reds because I'm addicted, but right now they are just a blast of fentanyl to my system.
    Where we gonna go?

    Without looking it up, I think Chuckie Robinson will be the first African-American catcher for the Reds since Terry McGriff in 1990.

    Thanks for all the work Ron posting these. At least I know you would never Check Out in April because of a losing streak.
    Been nice chatting with you and several others here. Take care.

    Mike Moustakas is taking on-field batting practice, so that’s a good sign after he left last night’s game.

    Interesting that along with Mcgriff in 1988, another African-American caught games for the Reds that year - Lloyd McClendon.
