I see this as a set back in Jose’s development. He doesn’t need to be striking out half the time and pressing against big league pitching. Not a productive period IMO. Hopefully this rest period will help him and he’ll do better.
The Cards are very impressive right now. Clicking on all cylinders. I’m not a fan of theirs but have to acknowledge that it’s impressive. Now I’d like to see the Reds beat them a couple of times. Homer for Romine!
