Barrero and Drew Stubbs come to my mind as having that problem also.

From what I saw in person at Saturday's game, Barrero is actually hitting better than Aquino right now. Neither are MLB hitters at the moment.

I see this as a set back in Jose’s development. He doesn’t need to be striking out half the time and pressing against big league pitching. Not a productive period IMO. Hopefully this rest period will help him and he’ll do better.

I see what you are saying, but I didn't hear anyone warning NOT to bring him up when they did. For the record, I'm not exactly bullish on Barrero. I do however hope that he succeeds here, this season. If he doesn't, there's still plenty of time.
