He might be a flea, but he is batting .310....we have had way worse #5 hitters.

Enough with the matchups crap. Another over correction by the saber no matter what overtaking the game. If Fairchild was actually good then playing him over Friedl or Farley would be fine. He’s not. Neither is Senzel either at this point. Your losing. See what those 2 can do vs LH as much as possible.

Bell acts like he has the 1979-1983 Orioles roster at hand.

I like playing matchup ball myself, who wants to see a LH bat get eaten up by a LH?

Complaining about the Reds lineup is like complaining about the lack of healthy food at McDonalds. Everyone is suspect, might as well let everyone play like a bad little league team, even if half of them are Timmy Lupus

McDonalds breakfast and cafes are magnificent. Jack and The Box and their buttery Jack. Unbelievable.

If there were better options than Fairchild and Senzel of course. I want to see how these 2 handle LHP over a few months before it’s confirmed they flail against LHP.

For the record, I’m not complaining about Lopez hitting 5th, I’m marveling at it like an ancient treasure.

Saurez just blasted his 6th HR over his last 12 games (batting .300 over that span). Saurez does not swing at that low-and-away pitch since he's come to Seattle. Team-wise, they simply do not do it, as both the hitters and pitchers control the strike zone in Seattle. It's part of that recipe that goes along with the prospects the REDS picked up from Seattle and other teams this season. I assume this is leading the team away from players like Aquino.

I assume that the REDS are saving Friedl for PH/Outfield replacement today to either win the game of save the game.

Oh, and that's the 6th time Eugenio has hit 25 or more homeruns in a season.
